Context
I lead the mobile project to research and design the Kaiber app that prioritizes pared-down generation templates for easy-to-use, high-impact content generation.
Designed for content creators (like @skowrld!), mobile templates emphasize a super-streamlined, richly animated experience aimed to quickly generate specific styles and types of content, shortening the distance between upload to output.

Kaiber users generate media in the web-based Superstudio and send content to their phones for activation on social media
How do we move Canvas generation into a mobile context, prioritizing easy-to-use generation templates and user return?
Pre-existing templates in Superstudio web are designed for users to navigate the node-based canvas and generate specialized media outputs.
Features
The project focuses on key user flows:
Dead-simple user experience that leads to high-impact, viral activations
Frequently updated templates and engaging design language that keeps users revisiting the app and (re)generating media.
Process: Scoping and ideation
(01) Clear expectations users know from the start exactly what generation types are available and what each template aims to create
(02) Required uploads micro-interactions like responsive counts and a progress bar add to a rich and seamless process.
(03) Clear, editable uploads for prompting editable view of uploaded media allows for clear prompt generation.
(04) Simple, straightforward settings core customizations like style, speed and size are surfaced.
Process
Expanding upon the design system for web canvas, Kaiber mobile maintains familiarity in UI, while building on new interface interactions.
Outcomes
Decreased generation process time by 53% (compared to Superstudio web)
